Micro Mondays #3: “Bogeyman” by Nathan Perrin

In the dark, I see
the glowing red face
peeking out from the
closet in the corner.
It taunts me and laughs. A hideous, low voice.
"No one will ever believe you,"
the voice chuckles.
I squeeze my eyes shut,
pray, and hope for daylight.
